ImproveHabits is built as a parent-child platform where safety is part of product design, not an afterthought. Below are the safety commitments we enforce in the app.
We do not target children with ad-driven engagement loops in core child experiences.
Children interact only through parent-approved connections and monitored family controls.
Parents can disconnect or block users immediately from family settings and connection controls.
If a parent disconnects with another adult, all connection between the other parent and the child are broken and then can't chat with the child anymore.
Parents can view child chats to maintain a safe environment and intervene when required.
We use parent verification, child-safe defaults, and strict authorization at the route and database layers. Even if a URL or payload is tampered with, access to unrelated child data is denied.
